See below information guidelines for Food and Concession Stand Duty.
Food:
When providing food, please make sure the food is of a healthy nature. Food should include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Cooler with water and Gatorade/PowerAde - please bring enough water for each player to last through the warm up and all matches that day (at least 2 bottles of water per player).
- Main meal (subs, chick-fil-a, wraps, tacos, etc.)
- Fruit/veggie tray
- Salty snacks (peanuts, pretzels, gold fish)
- Sweet item
- Paper products (plates, cups, utensils and napkins)
- Table cloth
Other items that have also worked in the past include:
- Pasta salads
- Cheese
- Peanut butter crackers
- Power bars
Home Matches: At the home matches there will be a table provided. Food should be set-up on the table between 3:45 and 4:00pm.
Away Matches: Please coordinate with the respective team coach or ask the team mom to find out how they want to do the food. Sometimes the food is brought to the school and the girls eat before they leave. Other times, the food is brought to the bus in brown bags and the girls eat on their way to the match. Please remember to include bags for the coaches. The cooler with water or gatorade can also go in the bus.
Concession Stand Duty:
Please be at the concession stand by 4:30pm to get the concession stand open and set up before the game. Contact Hope Martin (770-740-9585) for the keys the day before the game. Coach Schaefer should also have a key to the concession stand. After each game, turn the keys into team mom. If the team mom is not there, please contact Hope Martin (770-740-9585).
